# How do I RSVP for my child?
## Answer for each of your players from the event, and get their event emails.
As a **Parent/Guardian** on your child's team, you answer the RSVP for your child. This is how a coach finds out whether a player who does not have their own Football Play Card account is coming, which is every player on an Under 13 team.
### How do I RSVP for my child?
1. Open the event from the schedule or from the event email. You can also answer straight from the next event at the top of the **Schedule** screen.
2. On the **Details** tab, find the card called **Your players**.
3. Under your child's name, choose **Yes**, **No** or **Maybe**.
4. Add a comment if you want, for example that they will be late. It is optional.
There is no Save button. Your answer saves as soon as you choose it, and the comment shows **Saved** once it has gone through.
*Each child has their own answer under Your players. Your own answer is separate, under Your RSVP.*
### How do I RSVP for a repeating event?
Open the date you are answering for first. A child's answer always covers one date at a time, so on a repeating event with no date open you see **Open a single date to answer for this player.**
### Frequently Asked Questions
### What if I have more than one child on the team?
- Each child has their own answer in **Your players**, listed by name. Answer each one separately, since one child can be at practice while the other is not.
### Can I change my answer?
- Yes, choose a different one at any time, unless your coach has closed RSVPs before the event. Then the event tells you **RSVP changes are no longer accepted**.
### Can I RSVP for myself as well?
- Yes, if the coach invited you to the event yourself. Your own answer sits in a separate card called **Your RSVP**, and answering for yourself does not answer for your child. On a repeating event, your own card also offers **Apply my answer to every occurrence in this series**. Your child's answer is still one date at a time.
### What emails will I get about my child?
- When your child is invited to an event, you get the email. The subject names your child, for example "Practice for Jake", and the button reads **RSVP for Jake in the app**. You also get an email when the event is changed or cancelled.
- If your child has no answer as the event gets close, you get a reminder to RSVP for them. It stops as soon as anyone answers for your child, including another parent or the coach. On a repeating event, an answer for one date also stops the reminders for the other dates, so check each date on the schedule rather than waiting for a reminder.
- These come by email. Event changes reach your phone as a notification when your coach posts an announcement about them in team chat.
### Who can RSVP for a child?
- A **Parent/Guardian** the coach has linked to that child. Every linked parent can answer, and the latest answer stands.
- The coach, who can set any player's answer from the event's roster.
- Family & Friends and Fans cannot answer for a player. If you should be able to and the **Your players** card is not there, ask your coach to link you to your child as their Parent/Guardian.
