[Schedule](https://knowledge.footballplaycard.com/schedule?hsLang=en) October 31, 2026 # How do I set up a repeating event? ## Put your practices on the schedule once for the whole season. A repeating event puts the same practice or meeting on the schedule again and again, so you enter your Tuesday practice once instead of twelve times. Football Play Card calls the whole run a series. ### How do I make an event repeat? 1. Create the event as normal, with the date and time of the first one. 2. Open **Recurrence** and choose how often it repeats: **Daily**, **Every weekday**, **Mon / Wed / Fri**, **Tue / Thu**, **Weekly**, **Every 2 weeks**, or **Custom days...** to tick the days yourself. 3. Set **Repeats until** to the last day of your season. Leave it blank and the event repeats with no end date. 4. Select **Create**. When **Tell the team?** opens, leave **Save and tell the team** selected and select **Save**. Every date in the series appears on the schedule, and everyone you invited gets an email about it. To get the dates in their own calendar, they use **Add to calendar**. See "[How do I add the team schedule to my own calendar?](https://knowledge.footballplaycard.com/how-do-i-add-the-team-schedule-to-my-calendar?hsLang=en)"   ### Frequently Asked Questions ### Does a repeating event stay at the same time when the clocks change? - Yes. A practice set for 4pm stays at 4pm after daylight saving ends. You do not have to touch it. ### Can I change one date without changing the rest? - Yes. When you edit an event that repeats, Football Play Card asks **Edit recurring event**, with **This occurrence only**, **This and the ones after it** or **The entire series**. See "[How do I change one date of a repeating event?](https://knowledge.footballplaycard.com/how-do-i-change-one-date-of-a-repeating-event?hsLang=en)" for the full walkthrough. *Everything in this article works on the Football Play Card website on any device.
