# How do I switch between teams?
## Two children on two teams, or your own team plus one you follow.
If you follow or coach more than one team, you pick which one you are looking at. The choice carries across the app, so the schedule, the chat, the roster, your quizzes and your game plans all show the same team.
### How do I switch teams?
1. Open the team picker at the top of **Schedule**, **My Team** or **Chat**.
2. Choose the team you want.
Everything follows. You do not have to change it again on each screen.
### How do I know which team has something new?
The picker shows an unread chat count beside each team, so you can see which one is talking before you switch. The picker button shows the total across all your teams.
### Frequently Asked Questions
### I coach my own team and follow my child's. Does that work?
- Yes. You get the full app for the team you coach, and the follower view of the team you follow, in the same account. Switch between them with the picker.
### Why does each team show me different things?
- Because your access can be different on each one. On a team you coach you see everything. On a team you follow you see what your follower type allows: a Parent/Guardian sees the schedule, the team's plays and the chat, and a Fan sees only the games. **Chat** shows in the menu only on a team whose chat includes you.
