What can followers see?

Followers are the people who follow your team without playing for it. Not every follower needs the same information. A parent who answers for their player needs more than a grandparent handling pickup, who needs more than a booster who just wants the game schedule. Football Play Card gives followers three types, and you choose one for each person you invite.

What does each follower type see?

Follower type	What they see
Parent/Guardian	Every event on the schedule, with full addresses and arrival times, and your team's plays. Your team chat, unless you switch Parents & Guardians off in Chat settings. Your game videos. Your roster, without email addresses. They answer RSVPs for the players they are linked to, and take quizzes for a linked player who does not have their own account.
Family & Friend	Every event on the schedule, with full addresses and arrival times. Your team chat only if you switch Family & Friends on in Chat settings. Your game videos. Your roster, without email addresses. Never your plays.
Fan	Your games only, not practices or meetings. Each game shows the venue name and the town rather than the full address. Never your plays, the team chat, your roster or your game videos.

Parents & Guardians and Family & Friends get an email for each event you send them. Fans see your games in the app, but are not emailed. The Followers tab in My Team spells out what each type sees, so you can check it at any time. To choose who is in the team chat, see "How do I choose who can see the team chat?"

How do I show Fans the full game address?

Select My Team and open the Followers tab.
On the Fan line, turn on Show full addresses.

The Fan line then reads full game addresses, no plays. Turn it off again to go back to venue and town. Only the head coach can change this. You need a State Champion plan or above for the Followers tab.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do Fans not see the full game address?

A Fan can be anyone, so by default a Fan sees where a game is, by the venue name and town, without the street address, the map or directions. Parents and family, who are dropping players off, always see the full address.

Does a follower ever see my playbook?

Only a Parent/Guardian. Family & Friends and Fans never reach your plays, whatever else you change. A Parent/Guardian can read your plays, but cannot see your game plans, or export or share plays.

Can I change somebody's follower type later?

Yes, once they have accepted the invite. Only the head coach can do it. On the Followers tab, open the menu at the end of the person's row and select Change Follower Type. See "How do I invite a follower?"

Can one person follow more than one team?

Yes, and their type can be different on each one. A parent with two children on two teams is a Parent/Guardian on both, and sees each team's schedule separately. See "How do I switch between teams?"

What if a follower also coaches their own team?

That works. Somebody can own their own playbook and follow another team at the same time, and they get the full app for their own team plus the follower view of the team they follow.
